Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.

It’s the perfect time to share a special meal with that special someone. And while virtually every restaurant in Singers will be doing something to celebrate this loved up day, we’ve rounded up our faves into this nifty little list of the Best Date Night Spots in Singapore for Valentine’s Day. From the super romantic to the quiet and whimsical (and even the downright trendy), treat yourself and your beloved to a night off and enjoy the romance, mama!

If you’d rather ditch the traditional set menu for something a little sweeter instead, then Atrium is the place to be with your special someone! With a decadent chocolate buffet featuring 12 milk, dark and white chocolate desserts (highlights include the Rustic Chestnut Chocolate Macaroon and the Gianduja Chocolate Fudge Cake) as well as unlimited champagne, wine and beers to sip on, it’s the perfect spot for a sweet evening with your lovely. For extra romancing, snap up one of their specially decorated “lantern-inspired” pods to score extra bonus points.

Valentine’s Day chocolate buffet is only available on 14 February from 5-11pm and is $80 per couple. The pod package is priced at $228 per couple and includes the chocolate buffet, unlimited drinks and the pod to get cosy in.

Lower East Side Taqueria

For an unconventional dining experience this Valentine’s Day (because spice is always nice!), head to Lower East Side Taqueria. This quirky, vibrant Mexican restaurant-cum-bar on the East Coast promises to spice up your romantic celebrations with its wickedly hot creations. Enjoy a special four-course gastronomic spread, featuring Ceviche de Camarones, Pibil Pollo (a marinated chicken dish), Taco Platters and Churros to finish. Don’t forget to order a Spicy Valentine Margarita whilst you are there, before settling in for a one-night-only screening of iconic Mexican movies (from 6pm) with your loved one.

For a date night with a difference, head to MUSEO and explore your creative side with your special someone. This unique tea lounge meets social painting studio (with a stunning sea view!) offers a quick retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, with their three-course special Valentine’s Day menu and painting session (you read that correctly mama!). Start the evening with a delicious meal, follow it by making your own Sangria cocktails before turning your hand to a 90-minute social painting session where you’ll get to unleash your creativity and create a masterpiece that you and hubby can take home at the end! Fun!

Museo’s three-course Valentine’s Day dinner menu and painting session is available on 13 and 14 February and is priced at $288 nett.

Situated on the water at Quayside Isle, hip mamas and papas can book a table at this contemporary Spanish resto and enjoy a Mediterranean-inspired meal of Embutidos Mixtos (a selection of Spanish ham and sausages), Paella Pescado (Paella with seafood and Maine lobster), and Churros (Spanish fried doughnut) with a bottle of Cava to wash it all down. Take a wander around the marina post-meal to enjoy the atmosphere (and another sneaky drink!).

Perched 55 floors above the heart of Orchard Road, the Aussie-inspired, Salt Grill & Sky Bar is set to impress, with their 6-course “love” menu, dotted with tons of fresh seafood and a “chocolate lovers plate” to finish .While a night here is certainly a special treat (it’s going to cost!) it’s hard to go past the stunning views of Southern Singapore — especially as the sun goes down, mama!

How could we not mention the great Wheel of Singapore, especially when they’re getting loved up this Valentine’s Day? Hop aboard the Love Wheel with your significant other and enjoy a sky high dining experience with full butler service. Couples will dine on a 4-course set menu, while they enjoy views of the Singapore skyline as well as roses and heart-shaped macaroons upon exit.

The Halia at Singapore Botanic Gardens (Interior)

Our go-to when we want a cosy romantic dining spot, The Halia at the Singapore Botanic Gardens is turning up the love factor this Valentine’s Day with their special five-course dinner set menus. Curated by Executive chef Peter Rollinson, you can dine on beauties like Tasmanian Crayfish Ravioli, Braised Mayura Station Wagyu Brisket or Paperbag Oven-Baked Chilean Seabass Fillet. If you’re looking for a bit o’ variety, you can opt for their Valentine’s Day Buffet Dinner instead, and choose from goodies like Slow Roasted Wagyu Beef or Valrhona Chocolate Truffle. A romantic meal in the heart of the gardens? Yes please.

Valentine’s Day 5-course set menu is only available on 14 February and is priced at $300 nett per couple ($420 nett with paired wines). The buffet set is priced at $250 nett per couple (with wine) or $220 nett (without wine).
