Pink Ribbon Walk is Singapore’s largest even dedicated to raising Breast Cancer awareness, showing support for those affected by the condition, and reinforcing the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

If you’re leery of YouTube but want more educational fare than what’s offered on the streaming services, the new mobile subscription service and app Discovery Kids is a great option, mama. Designed to spark curiosity and encourage exploration, the “watch-play-learn” experience combines super popular shows like Daniel Tiger, Peppa Pig and Oddbods with an emphasis on science and nature, including a special collaboration with the Singapore Zoo. There are also tons of games, a wide array of child-appropriate shows from the Discovery Channel library such as Cupcake Wars and Meet the Penguins, and, best of all, digital books that are perfect for read-alongs (Good Night, Gorilla FTW!)
The app is available for dowloand from both Google Play and the Apple App Store with a free 30-day trial. Thereafter it costs $4.98 a month.

Inspired by the incredible healing power of China’s most exceptional teas (one of them being Longjing tea, which was once only consumed by the upper class and royalty), French designer label LU MING TANG brings us skin-transforming products to become mainstays in our beauty routines! Their star products include a radiance-boosting moisturiser, vitamin-rich mist and a nutrient 2-in-1 mask – our favourite! The Miraculous Detox Paste contains antioxidant-rich Longjing Green
Tea fused with Soy Milk, Hawthorn and Acerola Red Berries to improve cell health while helping skin to better resist environmental aggressors and sun damage. Application requires just three to five minutes, and immediately you’ll feel smoother, brighter skin!
LU MING TANG is now available at Tangs at Tang Plaza
Are you forever on the hunt for the perfect foundation shade, mama? Priding itself on being “the world’s most inclusive beauty brand”, M.A.C has just launched 18 new shades in its popular Studio Fix Fluid Foundation line, bringing the total range to 57 different shades ranging from golden, to olive, to pink, and everything in between! With buildable coverage and an oil-controlling matte finish (so key in this climate!), it’s a beauty no-brainer that’s not too hard on the pocket book ($56). The newly-expanded spectrum also includes an impressive 33 shades of Studio Fix 24-Hour Smooth Wear Concealer ($36).
One of our favourite fam-friendly travel resorts has taken an important step towards going green! Club Med has put themselves at the forefront of ocean conservation and aims to reduce the use of plastic in all of its resorts worldwide with its Bye Bye Plastic initiative to progressively eliminate single-use plastic items. Paper straws are provided upon request as part of their “Straw on Request” policy, which has been in place for the past few years through the Green Globe certification of the resorts. Club Med Phuket alone has seen an approximate 76% decrease in the use of plastic straws resort-wide since the policy began, down from an estimated 1,000 fewer straws used daily in the resort. So make sure you pack your bamboo or metal straws on your next trip, mama!
Recently they’ve also announced their innovative and sustainable approach to fighting food waste in Club Med Bali. Partnering revolutionary UK-based startup Winnow Solutions, they have brought in an advanced system that provides both real-time and regular reporting to easily identify areas to help reduce their food waste. Since early 2018, Club Med Bali has already reduced food waste by 56%, significantly reducing the negative impact on the environment!

We’re always looking for comfortable innerwear and sloggi is definitely one of our fave brands. Their ZERO Feel bodywear series first took the world by storm in the Spring Summer 2018, and now they’ve expanded the range with the new ZERO Feel Sporty Top to accompany their seamless bralettes and undies. Using a unique combination of outstandingly soft 40-gauge fabric, 360° stretch and a flat seam-free finish, a new Japanese fit features improved functions. A wider shoulder width, longer straps and higher side seams with bigger padding means the new fit will cater to even more female figures, giving us a wider range that’s true to comfort!
Sizes range from S – XL, available at Sloggi boutiques, Takashimaya, Tangs, Metro, BHG, Isetan, OG and Robinsons islandwide.
