Festive WILD-erland at Bird Paradise & Rainforest Wild ASIA

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the festive season than being surrounded by our favourite animals! If you can relate, then a visit to Bird Paradise and Rainforest Wild ASIA is a must. Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s Festive WILD-erland has taken over both parks, where you can find festive photo points and a digital Advent Calendar, revealing daily surprises from 1 to 25 December. On the Mandai Wildlife WEST Lawn, you’ll spot the towering 8-metre-tall Tree of Life–the first-ever wildlife-themed Christmas tree adorned with animal-themed ornaments that represent the threatened species that Mandai Wildlife Group protects. From 5 December, hop aboard the Christmas trackless train at Mandai Wildlife WEST, an exciting ride the kids are sure to love!

In the day, visit the adorable penguins at Bird Paradise’s Ocean Network Express Penguin Cove to check out the Christmas lights and snowflake projections. As dusk falls, get invited to the Penguins Christmas Party Quest where kids aged up to 12 can go on a fun Christmas treasure quest happening daily at 5.30pm and walk away with a mystery gift. The Wings of the World Presentation is also taking on a yuletide spin, where Santa’s well-wishes and gifts are delivered to audiences by Sassy, the Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo! We’re huge fans of the projection mapping shows that take place at CHIJMES, most notably during the Singapore Night Festival, so we’re delighted to hear that it’s back this festive season! Catch the action for yourself at the CHIJMES Main Lawn, where you’ll see the CHIJMES Hall facade light up in dazzling festive projections. Time your visit so you can catch the Christmas carollers singing holiday tunes, and catch the much-anticipated snowfall sessions, too! Come early so you have time to browse an array of festive gifts, accessories, apparel, treats and more at the Christmas market. P.S. Catch a neon installation & merry-go-round at Millenia Walk

Millenia Walk has one of the most unique Christmas events in Singapore! The mall has turned into a neon-lit wonderland titled ‘The Season Aglow’, featuring the adorable Meowly cat. The installation is the brainchild of Singaporean artist and creative director Roy Wang and his multi-disciplinary art and design studio, FACTORY, created as part of Millenia Walk’s ‘Creative Neighbourhood’ initiative. The striking ‘Dreams of Santa Paws’ installation is the show-stopper here, featuring a 6-metre-tall slow-turning carousel that’s unlike any we’ve ever seen. Beyond the festive cheer and dazzling lights, this iconic installation reflects Millenia Walk’s vision to spotlight homegrown creatives and create moments where visitors can connect, imagine and celebrate the joy of togetherness through meaningful experiences. And yes, it’s totally free to ride!

The mall also has a lot in store this festive season. Check out the Christmas Market, curated by Sunday Social Market (27 to 30 November) as well as Crane Living’s Winter Atelier Pop-up (now till 31 December) for a trove of Christmas gifts, handmade goodies, accessories and more. You can also look forward to Commune’s ‘Merry-Poly Living Room’ Pop-Up (1 to 21 December) for elegant furnishings. Christmas Wonderland: Magical Spalliera, carnival & more

Gardens by the Bay’s Christmas Wonderland is always a crowd-fave year-end activity for families. We never fail to be mesmerised by the towering 20-metre-tall Spalliera, a Gothic-inspired structure made of 90,000 light bulbs that stands in the middle of the Supertree Grove. This is usually where the foam snowfall takes place, accompanied by festive tunes. We also look forward to the annual Christmas market, carousel and choo-choo train rides, Santa Claus meet-and-greets and more! Changi Festive Village: Disney Cruise-themed installations

Travelling this period? There’s no need to miss out on any Christmas events in Singapore because you can just stop by the Changi Festive Village before or after your flight–or just for a fun weekend activity with the kids! This year, the Changi Festive Village is decked out in Disney Cruise Line-themed installations. You can’t help but spot the huge 6.5-metre tall cruise ship right in front of the Terminal 3 departure gate, where fan favourites such as Mickey Mouse, Elsa and Olaf, Snow White and Iron Man can be found. World Christmas Market 2025: Over 20,000sqm of festivities

Togetherland by World Christmas Market is back, and this year’s edition is even bigger than its inaugural edition last year! It takes place at Bayfront Event Space, so expect over 20,000 sqm of festive fun. Look forward to nine festive zones, including a stage where you can watch a Christmas Musical and live bands throughout the night. A life-sized maze, arcades, themed carnival games, live Pac-Man battles and more–Sentosa has transformed into a Pac-Man Carnival this Christmas, in celebration of the gaming classic’s 45th birthday! Mofusand Holidays at CapitaLand Malls

Mofusand will be taking over CapitaLand Malls this Christmas season! You’ll see the cheeky kitty across all CapitaLand Malls (we hear there are a whopping 17 Mofusand-themed Christmas events and pop-up stores!). NEX: LINE Friends minini playland

There’s an adorable LINE FRIENDS minini playland that’s popped up at NEX! And yes, it is what you think it is: an inflatable playground modelled after a strawberry-pink Christmas cake (note that kids must be between 90cm and 150cm tall to use the slide). Downtown East: Unicorn-themed activities & installations

Experience unicorn magic this Christmas at Downtown East’s Unicorn Christmas Garden! Every weekend, you can catch fairy encounters with bubble play, as well as unicorn balloon sculpting at the mall’s Event Square. Resorts World Sentosa: Wicked-themed Christmas events

The World of Oz comes alive at Resorts World Sentosa this Christmas, celebrating the highly anticipated film ‘Wicked: For Good’. Find the iconic Yellow Brick Road at Sentosa Sensoryscape, where you’ll also spot Glinda’s Bubble that’s surrounded by tulips, as well as character photo ops and an illuminated pathway that leads you to the Emerald City. Elphaba’s Hat also makes an appearance at 9 metres tall! There’s also a music and light display that takes place at the Lake of Dreams in RWS. Make-A-Wish Singapore: Santa Race for Wishes 2025

Make-a-Wish Foundation’s annual Santa Race for Wishes 2025 is back! Choose between a virtual walk or run, virtual cycling, or make a donation. Funds from this Christmas event will go to support children with critical illnesses and their families. The goal is to hit a total of 60,000 kilometres, and you can even win a Best Dressed contest. There are also recognitions for the top fundraiser, longest distance walker or runner and longest distance cyclist. There’s also a grand draw on 7 January 2026 for those who clock in their distances.

Marina Bay Sands: Nutcracker Christmas event

Levitating Christmas trees, the iconic nutcracker butlers and light projections on the facade of ArtScience Museum–you can expect nothing less than grandeur at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands this festive season. You can easily just head down for the photoworthy festive decor alone (there are 88 nutcracker butlers and almost 190 Christmas trees!), but there also five-minute, twice-daily showcases of The Nutcracker Butler’s Concerto and light projections of the nutcracker butler that light up the ArtScience Museum in the evening.
