Get ready for a fantastical dinner journey down the rabbit hole, mama! Dinner and Tea Time in Wonderland have landed in Singapore
Last Sunday my family and I got whisked away into the magical world of Alice in Wonderland. The Queen of Hearts herself had invited us for Tea!
For this occasion, we were told to dress whimsically, to wear mismatched socks and to avoid white at all costs for fear of earning the wrath of the Queen! The location was kept secret till the day before the event when I received a text with the instructions to the Rabbit Hole.
Welcome to Tea Time in Wonderland, the junior edition of ANDSOFORTH’s Dinner In Wonderland, a theatre production that brings together immersive storytelling, tea time and activities for all.
Our Tea Time took place in a “wonderlandified” dining room where we enjoyed songs, dances, games and plenty of irrational and illogical fun all led by the very convincing and wonderful cast of ANDSOFORTH. Our favorite character had to be the Mad Hatter, who delighted us with his nonsense and poise.
We also loved having other characters of the book popping up throughout Tea Time to carry the kids off to their magical kingdoms either for some storytelling or more play.
Needless to say the kids had a truly magical and unforgettable experience. Thank you ANDSOFORTH!
