Looking for fun things for the kids to do in Singapore during the June school holidays this summer 2024? Check out these kids’ activities and fun events!

The June school holidays for local schools are from 25 May to 23 June 2024, while international school summer holidays kick off from the end of June 2024 until the end of August 2024. If you haven’t signed your kiddos up for any awesome summer holiday camps, you better hop to it (check out the early bird discounts!). But what about the rest of the June school holidays? We line up some (ticketed and free) activities and events, plus suggestions of fun kids’ things to do in Singapore!

Little ones love playing at the Tayo Station indoor play with its three-storey Gani’s Playground, ball pool, sensory play at the Hinoki Wood Pit and the star attraction, Tayo’s Road Circuit. From 24 May to 23 June 2024, a one-of-a-kind experience awaits. The “Hop on to Tayo Station” journey includes a ride on a real-life Tayo bus, inspired by the beloved Korean animation series – between Tampines MRT and Tayo Station at Downtown East, sing-alongs to catchy Tayo songs, and educational activities with show characters, Hana/Rookie, where children can learn about the neighbourhood through interactive activity sheets. Plus kids will get a commemorative Tayo Lanyard (worth $6.90) as a keepsake and 20% off Wild Wild Wet admission including access to Marine Marvels Wave Wonder.

2. Korean Festival at Pororo Park Singapore

The Pororo Park Singapore indoor playground at Marina Square is a great spot to let little tykes burn off some energy over the holidays! They’ll love the pretend-play Pororo’s house, obstacle course and the Pororo Express Train. From 8 May until the end of June, Pororo Park will be transformed into a vibrant celebration of Korean culture with traditional games and Hanbok photo booth, promising an unforgettable experience for families and children. There’s also a pop-up Korean Café helmed by Korean chefs from Jeju Island featuring Korean brands Frutrip and Auro, serving delectable eats with vegan-friendly options from gimbap to cream donuts.

3. Minecraft theme at SuperPark

Indoor playground SuperPark is always great for kids all ages, so it’s the perfect spot for siblings over the June school holidays! Superpark consists of two levels of unlimited activities including a popular Pedal Car Track, a tube slide, flying fox, trampolines, archery, plus ball games, Augmented Climbing, and more! For the June school holidays, there’s a Minecraft-themed event with Minecraft airbrush tattoos (Saturdays & Sundays, 1pm – 4pm), Sub Soccer tournaments (Saturdays & Sundays, 1pm – 5pm) with Minecraft-themed prizes from Lego and Mattel and roaming Minecraft characters. 4. Children’s Festival at Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay’s signature Children’s Festival returns for its 10th edition during the June school holidays, this time featuring Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2! The Supertree Grove will be the only place in Southeast Asia where families can enjoy an Inside Out 2-themed outdoor carnival with large-scale installations, and most of the activities are free. 5. Visit an animal farm

We love taking the kiddos to see the friendly goats at the only goat farm in Singapore, Hay Dairies Goat Farm! Visitors can see how the animal farm operates and take a tour around the premises. Try to visit between the hours of 9am to 10:30am so that the kids have an opportunity to view the goat milking session at the milking parlour. Buy some alfalfa hay to feed the goats and pet them. To top it off, you can buy fresh goat milk to take home (available in two flavours, original and chocolate), or sign up for home delivery.

6. Join the Mess-ive Science Party at KidsSTOP™

7. Take the kids to KidZania

KidZania Singapore is a miniature kids’ city complete with streets, an A&E, police station, fire station, dentist, hospital, bank, radio station and department store. Offering a multitude of kids’ role-playing activities that mimic adult jobs (pilot, firefighter, doctor, shopkeeper, courier delivery), this is a unique, interactive learning experience spread out over two huge floors of indoor air-con space. Currently, this spot is getting very mixed reviews but if you plan to go check out all there is to know about KidZania Singapore including the fluctuating ticket prices, activities, attractions and tips here.

8. Visit the Children’s Museum Singapore

Children’s Museum Singapore is the first museum dedicated to children 12 years and below. With interactive learning experiences, a garden maze and free-to-explore play pod for toddlers, there’s plenty to do for your little ones. This is a safe space for kids to run around and interact with multi-sensory educational toys to teach them about Singapore’s history. Learn more about it here.

9. Have fun at Skyline Luge Singapore

Looking for a bit of thrill during the school hols? Check out the Skyline Luge in Sentosa where there are four purpose-built 2.6-km tracks with hairpin corners, tunnels and plenty of downhill slopes that will take you through the lush rainforest. Kids will absolutely love the Skyride, a four-seater chairlift, boasting stunning views of Singapore’s skyline to get to the top of the circuit. Then hop on the luge, pick out a track and enjoy the drift downslope. Tip: purchase tickets online to skip the ticket queue and hop straight into your luge! You can enjoy this activity during the day or even at night when it’s cooler. Plus bring home the memories with a digital photo or video of your shared bonding experience!

10. Marine Marvels at Downtown East

Check out the new attraction Marine Marvels at Downtown East. This June holiday event is on from May 24 to July 28 and celebrates ocean conservation and adventure combining fun and educational elements. This programme is a platform for education and awareness about marine life and conservation efforts, as human activities continue to threaten the world’s oceans. Look out for four main interactive installations – Wave Wonder Zone at Wild Wild Wet ($21 for children or $29 for adults) featuring Singapore’s longest marine-inspired inflatable obstacle course; Glow Coast Carnival and Neon Playground (first of its kind in SG!) at the Open-Air Carpark; Interactive Educational Installations at Event Square; and Marine Mealtime for milk-bottle feeding koi,  just outside WWW’s entrance. 11. Check out The Artground’s new playspace

The Artground is a not-for-profit, accessible art centre and indoor play space for children 7 and under. Besides the free indoor play space which has recently been revamped to a transport theme, The Artground offers a variety of affordable immersive theatre shows and programmes during the June school holidays. 12. Children’s Season 2024: Get Curious: All About Play!

For this year’s June holidays and as part of NHB’s Children’s Season 2024, the National Museum of Singapore invites families to play with this year’s theme Get Curious: All About Play! Families will uncover life values and learn more about the museum’s National Collection through interactive installations, drop-in craft activities (many of them free), storytelling, sensory play, an artefact hunt and more. 13. Bouncy fun at Jumptopia Lite @ Marina Square

Kiztopia’s latest installation at Marina Square’s Central Atrium arrives just in time for some bouncy fun this June holidays. Featuring two large inflatables—Bell’s Soya Bliss and Happy’s Whimsical Haven—this pop-up promises endless bouncy fun for the kiddos. More information here.

14. Visit Science Centre for educational fun

Plan a whole morning or even a full day at Science Centre Singapore, exploring different topics from climate change to kinetic forces, all in a kid-friendly, hands-on way. Your kids will be pushing buttons, experimenting with levers and absorbing so much that they won’t even realise they are learning. This edutainment centre brings the amazing world of science alive for kids (and adults!) Highlights include the Omni-Theatre* and for little kids KidsSTOP*.

15. Take the kids wakeboarding

Sporty kids as young as six and teens alike will love wakeboarding around Singapore! Many wakeboarding schools are located at Northshore Drive, where you can wakeboard in the sea, or you can head to Singapore Wake Park at East Coast – the only cable-ski wake park in Singapore. Get pulled along East Coast lagoon by suspended motorised cables – instructors are on hand to help. You’ll need to book your slot well ahead of time as this is one popular school holiday activity for kids!

16. Go on rock climbing adventures

Our kids absolutely love a day at this amazing rock climbing gym that offers a wide range of challenges suitable for climbers of all ages and skill levels. 17. Try out HydroDash

HydroDash is the inflatable obstacle course floating in the sea just off Palawan Beach on Sentosa. This water park is quite the workout for older kids (children must be 6 years old and above and at least 1.1 metres) and parents too. The June school holidays are the perfect time to try this obstacle course out with the kiddos! Scale the floating platforms, balance over narrow connecting steps and slide down as you navigate the slippery obstacle course. Read more here.

18. Splash at an awesome free water playground

There are so many great outdoor water play options for kids of all ages – plus what better way to beat the heat during the school holidays? Check out the Children’s Garden at Gardens by The Bay and don’t miss the water park playgrounds in Toa Payoh (complete with flying fox, bucket swings, trampolines around the corner and a mini track too).

19. Take the kids go-kart racing!

Get behind the wheel and experience go-karting! There are a number of places to go kart in Singapore with outdoor circuits, or there’s the relatively new indoor electric go-karting HyperDrive in Sentosa, which is three levels of air-con go-karting fun! This indoor go karting is a real hit, especially with older kids (you can go mighty fast and there are gamified options too) plus there are dual karts where parents and younger children (min. 90cm) can experience go-karting together. 20. Go bowling with the kids

Go bowling at these kid-friendly bowling alleys! It’s a fun activity for the whole family. Older kids will love the independence of having their own bowling lane, but it’s also a fun activity for little ones as young as age 3, thanks to these bowling alleys with side bumpers for kids, ramps as well as children’s bowling shoes!

21. Have a bounce-off at Amped

22. Visit LEGOLAND Malaysia for the June holidays

The June holidays are the perfect time to hop across the border and visit Legoland Malaysia— a multicoloured lego-inspired theme park with rides and attractions, as well as a separate water park. There are more attractions and rides appropriate for younger kids at Legoland Malaysia compared to Universal Studios Singapore, which is fab for older kids. Plus, if you’re staying overnight the kids will love the LEGOLAND Hotel!

23. Check out Fort Siloso (FREE!)

Fancy stepping back in time and exploring Fort Siloso, Singapore’s only well-preserved coastal fort? Start off at the Fort Siloso Sky Walk (take the lift to the top or climb the steps if you fancy a major workout!) The Fort Siloso Sky Walk offers a stunning observation deck and bridge to get a panoramic and picturesque view of Sentosa and its greenery. Once you cross the bridge, you’ll get to Fort Siloso, which once served as part of the country’s defences. The on-site military museum contains a treasure trove of WWII memorabilia, including coastal guns, the remains of fortified military structures and tunnels, as well as an interactive video documentary, complete with wax figures of Japanese & British soldiers at the Surrender Chambers.

24. Get inspired to read at the library (FREE!)

If your child isn’t super into books, you could take them to explore the many amazing libraries in town and spark that interest! Punggol Regional Library has multiple floors dedicated to kids (puppets, activity stations, toys and books galore!), and the new Central Public Library has reopened after a revamp and is a beauty to explore. There’s a new Children’s Biodiversity Library by S.E.A. Aquarium, which features biodiversity-themed learning spaces, including a Sea Jelly Zone with a video projection of sea jellies, an Intertidal Zone, and a huge floor-to-ceiling column with coral-like features!

25. Take a hike in nature

26. Rain day idea: visit an indoor playground

Take the kiddos to one of these 50+ indoor playgrounds in Singapore when it’s too hot or rainy outside! There’s something for tiny tots all the way up to older kids and even teens! Many of these indoor playgrounds have jungle gyms, interactive play spaces, and soft play areas plus for the bigger kids there are obstacle courses, climbing walls, and massive slides!


27. See the Garden Rhapsody light & sound show (FREE!)

Checking out the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show at the Supertree Grove is truly magical – kids love to be out in the lush gardens at night. Each show is 15 minutes long, and you’ll be treated to stunning light displays. The theme during the June school holidays is Enchanted Woods (1 – 30 Jun 2024) where you are invited to discover an enchanted tree that will take you on an adventure filled with magical beings and mystical beasts. 28. Check out the new Sentosa Sensoryscape

If you haven’t been yet why not use the June holidays to check out Sentosa Sensoryscape, the newest attraction at Sentosa that features immersive experiences at six sensory gardens that will awaken all of your senses. This 350-metre garden walkway includes the Lookout Loop, Tactile Trellis, Scented Sphere, Symphony Streams, Palate Playground and Glow Garden, each enriched with audio-visual experiences that will transport you into a whole new world. Kids can play with responsive plants at Tactile Trellis, breathe in therapeutic fragrances at the Scented Sphere or try edible plants at the Palate Playground. 29. Get creative at an art class

From painting to pottery, drawing to decoupage, there are plenty of different art classes for kids of varying ages to get their creative juices going. Enrol them in a one-off art class or a week art holiday camp to explore different mediums and see a real progression in their art skills!

30. Visit the Aviation-themed playground Kiztopia Jewel

Over the June school holidays take the kids to Jewel’s Kiztopia with its aviation-themed play space within Toys”R”Us in Jewel Changi Airport. Look forward to airplane-themed obstacle courses, a thrilling funnel slide leading into an ocean ball pit, a giant plane structure, and more.

31. Go wild at Admiralty Park playground (FREE!)

Nothing beats letting the kids play outdoors away from screen time! Head to Admiralty Park and have a go on all 26 different slides. Go early, as it gets hot and busy! This free playground is perfect for kids of all ages (we spotted teens having loads of fun here too). Plus entry is free!

32. Visit Universal Studios Singapore during the holidays

The Transformers Ride and the Battlestar Galactica ride at Universal Studios are firm favourites with older kids. Do note that now that the Madagascar-themed lazy river ride and merry-go-rounds are no longer, littler kids may have less to do, but there are still parades and fun younger kids’ rides like Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase (although do note entry is free for under 4-year-olds).

33. Head to Bouncetopia VivoCity before it closes 30 June

The massive 6,400 square feet Bouncetopia outlet in VivoCity will close on 30 June so make sure you head over for a last play during the June holiday. There are six play concepts including bouncy castles, a sensory sand pit, ball pits and plenty of fun activities to keep the little ones entertained! Older kids can burn off their energy by bouncing away at every bouncy castle while little tots can practice their fine and gross motor skills in the sensory play area.

34. Visit KidzWorld & pet animals at the Singapore Zoo

The Singapore Zoo never disappoints (we go multiple times a year and love feeding the animals – especially the elephants and giraffes!). There’s a new KidzWorld at Singapore Zoo that kids will enjoy after looking around the animal exhibits. This kids’ area boasts seven interactive indoor and outdoor zones, as well as a Canine Clubhouse and 250 animal residents, including interaction opportunities with the friendly cats, chickens, rabbits, and horses. Look out for the Ranger Buddies Quest (open on weekends and during school holidays), an immersive experience that allows little ones to step into the shoes of a keeper, nutritionist, and veterinarian. The water play area has had a revamp too. While sadly the water slides are no longer available, kids can beat the heat at the water fountains maze! Read more about the Singapore Zoo here.

Take the kids to Children’s Museum Singapore this June school holidays to discover the art of Singapore’s hawker culture. Kids are invited to gain a deeper understanding of what makes this so unique to Singapore and learn to appreciate the hard work that talented chefs put in to create delicious hawker food that we so often take for granted. Take the kids to the bird park Bird Paradise, home to 3,500 birds across 400 species from loris to pelicans, flamingos, emus, and cassowaries. From huge walk-through bird aviaries to playgrounds, bird feeding and shows, there’s plenty of fun in store!
