MacRitchie Reservoir Park and Nature Reserve

Off Lornie Road, Singapore 298717

Singapore’s oldest and most popular nature park makes for a perfect weekend outing with the fam. Bring a picnic and engage in some grass sitting and people gazing. If you are in the mood to hit the trails, remember that strollers can be a bit of a challenge unless you’ve got an all-terrain model so best suited for little walkers or tiny bundles in baby carriers.

For the slightly older kids the Treetop Walk is a must. It’s a suspension bridge that connects the two highest points in MacRitchie and gives an amazing view of the animals and bird life in the trees below you. Needless to say, none of these activities are suitable right after a heavy rain since the trails get seriously muddy and difficult to get around.
