Tiny Pod adds yet another member to their family of pod hotels! Fans of trains will want to book a room in this pod hotel because it is built within a decommissioned MRT carriage. Located at the heart of JTC LauchPad in one-north, Train Pod is a short 10-minute walk from one-north MRT station. ⁠

This boutique pod hotel will have eight rooms, each with an attached bathroom and LCD panels that depict real-life footage of the train’s earlier journey. Though the space is small, the space efficient layout ensures that you can enjoy all of the essential comfort in style. ⁠

We visited the new playground at Gardens by the Bay! The playground is huge with many play structures and mini obstacle courses, highlights wholesome family values, and is built with inclusivity in mind. At night, the playground lights up--just like the real Supertrees!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲: There's something for kids of all ages, even young toddlers! Kids who love to climb will have a field day here, and the sandpit is fab for sensory play and sandcastles. The mini market and bridge are clear hits with the young ones, and the kueh structures are a cute addition to the playground.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳: While the 9-metre-tall Supertree towers are a sight to behold, it's only big enough for kids to fit inside, so parents cannot accompany kids who aren't so confident/get cold feet while up there. The long metal tube slide also needs a little caution: we saw a couple of kids tumble down the slide, fly out, and land quite roughly in the sand (thankfully, no one was hurt!). Finally, with limited shade, the playground gets scorching hot during the day. There are small shaded areas, but we recommend going early in the morning or before sunset for a better play experience.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀: Bring lots of water, sunscreen and a fan. The walk from both carparks is also quite a distance, so bring those strollers and scooters along. You can also hop on the GBTB shuttle for $3.

Took a break from the chaos and stepped into ATLAS—aka the iconic “Gotham building” near Bugis that’s basically a European art deco dream. Towering ceilings, bronze everything, and a gin tower that’s taller than your toddler’s tantrums.
