Celebrate the Inspirational Women in your life with the #LeadingLady Campaign!

Every now and then a campaign comes along that makes us sit up and take notice. Something that is such a great idea and so inspirational that it brings a (happy) tear to our eye… And here at Sassy Mama, when this one hit our inbox, we just knew we had to share it with you.

In line with International Women’s Day on 8 March 2014, Public Culture has launched an online campaign to collect stories of inspirational women and how they have made a difference. So whether that is your own mother, a sister, best friend, daughter, teacher, helper, or any other woman who has made a positive impression in your life, now is the chance to share their story and shine a spotlight on how special they are.

Open to everyone (husbands included!) the #LeadingLady campaign is a celebration of women and was designed with two key ideas in mind: that it shouldn’t cost to celebrate the women around us, and that it should be as inclusive and open to diversity as possible. Sentiments that we fully support at Sassy Mama!

Nominating your #LeadingLady is super easy to do! Just pop over to the Public Culture website, download the form, fill it out and email it together with a picture of you (or your kids) with your chosen #LeadingLady to [email protected].

All submissions will be shared on the official webpage as well as Public Culture’s social media channels (entries close 8 March 2014) so get in quick mama and join us in celebrating the inspirational women in YOUR life!
