2024 Christmas Wonderland At Gardens By The Bay: ‘Snowfall’, Carnival Rides, Light Installations & More

Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay returns from 29 November 2024 to 1 January 2025. Meet Santa, see ‘snowfall’ and a light installation, explore an enchanted forest, and enjoy the carnival games, festive performances and more!

Christmas Wonderland is back at Gardens by the Bay from 29 November 2024 to 1 January 2025! Presented by Trip.com and organised by Blue Sky Events, Christmas Wonderland holds the title of Singapore’s largest Christmas event, and we’re plenty excited about this year’s edition.

We hear there will be new immersive experiences and even more light displays and performances at the Supertree Grove! Bring the family for carnival games and festive grub. Look forward to ‘snowfall’ amid the iconic structures and light installations. There are also plenty of installations the kids will love, such as Merry Bears, an enchanted forest, and even a Winter Solstice realm.

Here’s what to look forward to at Christmas Wonderland 2024:

Spalliera: Highlight of Christmas Wonderland

The magnificent Spalliera is back at Christmas Wonderland 2024! Intricately hand-crafted by Italian artisan, this structure–inspired by the Gothic architecture of Italy–stands at 20 metres tall (the height of five double-decker buses!). This crown jewel of Christmas Wonderland is made up of 100,000 light bulbs.

See snow at Christmas Wonderland: Blizzard Time

Another major highlight of Christmas Wonderland 2024 is the snowfall at Blizzard Time. It’s technically foam, but a stunning experience nonetheless! Blizzard Time will take place right after the nightly Garden Rhapsody light and sound show, against the backdrop of the Spalliera and Supertrees. This year’ the snowfall will be accompanied by the specially composed ‘Magic of Christmas’ by Singaporean composer-conductor Dr Darius Lim.

Daily shows (15 minutes light & sound show followed by snowfall): at 7.45pm, 8.45pm, and 9.35pm.

Giant festive light displays at Christmas Wonderland

Christmas is bigger and better–quite literally–at Gardens by the Bay this year. The Supertree Grove will be adorned with giant light displays, including an ice skate, ornament balls and gift boxes. There’s also the nearly 6-metre-tall Merry Bears. There’s also an enchanted forest at the Lawn called Bluebell Lane.

Walk of Lights at Merry Lane

Merry Lane, presented by Trip.com, is back this year with the dazzling Walk of Lights. This 50-metre-long LED light tunnel promises a burst of colours, so get your cameras ready. Over here is where you can also see Odette’s Dance, a mixed media installation that pays tribute to the iconic ballet Swan Lake.

Carnival rides, games & Christmas train

What’s Christmas Wonderland without a carnival? Crowd-favourite carnival games are back at Christmas Wonderland 2024! The highlight of the carnival has got to be the double-storey Venetian horse carousel. There’ll also be carnival games such as Ring Toss, Fishy Fishy and Snowball Smash. Bring the little ones to ride the CDG Zig Express Christmas Train that runs between Supertree Grove and Santa’s Village.

Meet Santa Claus at Santa’s Village

Kiddos looking for a glimpse of Santa Claus, get excited because we hear that the man in red himself will be hanging out at Christmas Wonderland 2024! Head over to Santa’s Vilalge where Father Christmas will be ready to take pics with the kids before he heads out to deliver presents all around the world!

Shopping at Christmas Wonderland: Mistletoe Alley

A European-style Christmas market awaits at Christmas Wonderland. At Mistletoe Alley you’ll find an eclectic selection of brightly-coloured festive huts. Get the kids to look out for friendly elves who’ll be roaming the Christmas market.

Festive entertainment at Christmas Wonderland 2024

This year’s Christmas Wonderland is back with even more live entertainment! Look forward to flash mobs, choral performances and live performances by singer-songwriters throughout the festival. There’ll also be a special live performances of Christmas Wonderland 2024’s theme song ‘Magic of Christmas’ taking place on 30 November and 1 December.
