Discover UWCSEA and forget about the wait list, mama!

It’s one thing to find your dream school in Singapore, but quite another to actually get into it … or so we thought. Turns out UWC South East Asia (UWCSEA) – one of Singapore’s most acclaimed and prestigious international schools, incidentally – has a no-wait list approach to admissions. Consider the wait list myth busted!

Every year, students have the chance to apply for a place at one of UWCSEA’s two campuses (on Dover Road and the East Campus in Tampines). Did you know, mama, that more than 600 spots open up each academic year due to new classes being created? Starting from Kindergarten 1 (age 4) and going all the way up through 11th grade, that’s a lot of places for prospective students! It’s not too early to start thinking about the next school year: applications for August 2016 open up on Tuesday, 1 September 2015. Why not visit UWCSEA on one of their upcoming annual open days to tour their two campuses, talk to students and teachers, and see classrooms in action? Here’s the full rundown of open days:

• Monday, 7 September: Dover Campus Middle School (Grades 6 to 8)
• Tuesday, 8 September: Dover Campus High School (Grades 9 to 11)
• Wednesday, 9 September:  Dover Campus Primary School (K1 to Grade 5)
• Thursday, 10 September: Dover Campus Primary School (K1 to Grade 5)
• Tuesday, 15 September: East Campus Primary School (K1 to Grade 5)
• Wednesday, 16 September: East Campus Middle School (Grades 6 to 8)
• Thursday, 17 September: East Campus High School (Grades 9 to 11)
