Mark your calendars for 23 November and join the inaugural i’mable Gift Market at the Enabling Village and celebrate the festive season, mamas. Over 30 vendors will come together at the Enabling Village’s first i’mable Gift Market to sell artisanal gifts that feature the talents and artistry of persons with disabilities. Plus there’ll be lots of free fun for kids like balloon sculpting, face painting and more. Read on for all the deets!
Wondering what kind of Christmas presents you can pick up at i’mable Gift Market? You’ll find:
- Whimsical clay earrings and eye-catching scarves
- Handcrafted ceramics
- Charming stationery, including hand-bound journals and batik pencil cases
- Home decor like hand-woven coasters, marbled mugs and hand-adorned tea light holders
- And much, much more!
Each item, lovingly made by special artists, bears its own special story. You can also enjoy free gift wrapping on purchases over $20, and will receive a free limited edition tote bag for purchases over $80.
Food & Fun for Kids
Singaporeans’ favourite past time is food, and there will be plenty of delicious snacks available. Don’t miss the decadent brownies from MINDS, or if you prefer something savoury, snack on fried chicken, fishballs and seaweed chicken from Bizlink. Kids will revel in fringe activities include balloon sculpting, face painting and coinbank painting, plus there will be FREE popcorn and candy floss on hand, too!
Mediacorp Celebrities Charity Boutique
Refresh your wardrobe with pieces from some of the most coveted closets in Singapore at the Mediacorp Celebrities Charity Boutique. Browse a range of pre-loved items donated by local celebrities such as Rebecca Lim, Romeo Tan, Elvin Ng and Hong Ling, as well as news presenters Melanie Oliveiro and Steven Chia, amongst many others. Take your pick from the wide range of fashionable clothing, eyewear, shoes and autographed books on display, and do your part for charity! All proceeds from this booth will go towards the Mediacorp Enable Fund.
Workshops
Try your hand at one of the many creative workshops – learn how to make your own hand-bound journal, marbled Christmas ornaments or decoupage candles.
