Sir Manasseh Meyer International School Open House

Create an App Workshop at The Keys Academy
Got a mini inventor at home? Sign them up to Keys Academy’s ‘Create an App’ Workshop. They’ll get to design a graphical user interface (GUI), conditional statements and Boolean operators and more. Using MIT’s user-friendly App Inventor programme, they’ll create their original Android app for use on mobile or tablet. Your tiny tyke will definitely have a blast with this one!

This May, Jamie’s Italian Singapore champions healthy eating for both kids and adults with Food Revolution Day and an exciting Gourmet Pop-Up Market that will launch for the very first time! Following Food Revolution Day, Jamie’s Italian VivoCity is proud to launch their first ever Gourmet Pop-Up Market in partnership with Somersby Cider on Saturday, 21 and Sunday, 22 May. Fans of Jamie’s Italian will get to see, taste and purchase some of the finest products from the restaurant’s kitchen that will allow them to create their own gourmet recipes at home!

Bubble Glow 5K
BUBBLE GLOW 5K is Asia’s inaugural 5km fun run catering to all ages that are seeking more than the thrill of a typical run. With the scenic Gardens by the Bay at dusk as a backdrop, participants have the freedom to walk, jog or run while experiencing glowing UV bubbles. Fret not if you get caught with the frothy goodness, the bubbles are 100% safe and 100% FUN to play with! And the night doesn’t end when you reach the finish line: be wowed with performances by MI Capella & Drummer DJ Chow at the music carnival, and look for yummy treats and fringe activities to keep everyone entertained throughout the night!

A Family Picnic: Football For Good
Fancy meeting the players of Valencia CF? Head over to Chijmes on Sunday, 22 May for a picnic lunch hosted by the Singapore Committee for UN Women. You’ll get to have a fun family day out, including games, photos with the players and delicious food that’ll make for an all-round great day with the kiddos.

Pets’ Day Out
If you’ve got a pet (or want to spend an afternoon making some four-legged friends), Tanglin Neighbourhood Committee is hosting a Pets’ Day Out in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Join in the mass picnic where there will be pet-friendly activities, balloon sculpting, caricature drawing, free balloons, gelato and coconut water. There’s a lucky dip and a photo contest, as well as a live band. If you’re bringing your pet, make sure they’re on a leash — it’s park rules!
