This international school will offer a unique and ambitious English curriculum for children from 18 months to 18 years* through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the English National Curriculum. The Senior School at Brighton College (Singapore)—Year 7 and Year 8 launched in August 2023 and the hot news is that they are now opening up places for Year 9 in August 2024 with Years 10 and 12 to be offered in 2025*. A holistic British education

So what’s on offer at Brighton College (Singapore)? It’s not just what’s taught here but how it’s taught. The curriculum is designed to ignite a lifelong love of learning in children. Students are encouraged to be inquisitive and confident to challenge theories and ask questions. In addition to math, English, science, geography, history, and computing, all taught by subject-specialist teachers, pupils learn modern foreign languages, music, art, drama and PE, following the IGCSE and A-level curriculum.*

Something unique is the ‘Story of our Land’ course, developed by Brighton College teachers. This course covers Britain’s story connecting history, philosophy, geography and religion in a critically informed way. In addition to academic subjects, a variety of sports, STEM activities, performing arts, and co-curricular activities are offered for a holistic well-rounded education.

As the curriculum is designed to prepare children for the 21st century, digital citizenship is taught throughout the years. In Years 2 – 6 pupils use iPads, while students in Senior School use MacBooks. Classrooms are fitted with interactive whiteboards and Apple TVs, plus students have access to state-of-the-art labs equipped with the latest technology, including VR headsets, micro: bit technology and robots to enhance learning.
