There’s a new Sugar K salon in Cluny Court (whoop for Bukit Timah residents!). Known for their Organic Peel Treatment to smoothen and soften dull, congested skin with its proprietary organic sugar cane skin-peeling solution containing glycolic acid, Sugar K’s treatments are great for deep exfoliation and to promote cellular reproduction. They’ve also just launched a new 20-minute Skin Gym Facial ($128). Organic botanicals and nutrient-rich serums are said to reveal youthful skin through the Multi- Polarity Electroporation device which micro-massages the face, stimulating blood circulation and enhancing skin’s firmness and contouring the face for a naturally ‘lifted’ effect.
There’s also a new Red Carpet Eye Treatment ($68), to help with eye wrinkles and tired looking eyes. These quick affordable treatments take place in a reclining chair so there is minimal fuss and no time wasted – perfect as a lunch break treatment!

Mamas in the Keppel Bay, Harbourfront and Sentosa areas must think VivoCity is heaven sent. There’s even more reason to love it now – the opening of a new wing! While we’re super excited to have a Popular bookstore at last, the new wing at VivoCity also houses sportswear stores, including Adidas.
The sports giant has a new silhouette in store called the UltraBOOST Parley shoes, an eco-friendly sneaker made from approximately 11 plastic bottles intercepted from beaches and coastal communities. This revolutionary eco-innovation starts life as plastic waste collected from beaches and is reworked into fabric to construct the silhouette’s Primeknit upper. The silhouette also features adidas’ iconic BOOST technology, offering the highest energy return, contained in a natural Continental rubber outsole for superior grip in all conditions.
What a stylish way to save the environment!
Find it: UltraBOOST Parley retails at Adidas stores and stockists at $280
Looking for a year-end getaway destination, mama? The Datai Langkawi is set to reopen after an extensive 12-month renovation this September! The resort has undergone a complete overhaul of the interiors and exteriors and now has brand new guestrooms, suites, villas and public spaces refreshed with simplicity at its core. New additions feature three Rainforest Pool Villas and the five-bedroom The Datai Estate, spanning over 3,500 square metres and will be one of the largest villas of its kind in Asia.
Make sure to pop by The Datai Spa, which draws heavily on local traditions and includes a treatment list based on philosophies of the Malay concept known as ramuan or ‘potions’, made by infusing oils with hand-picked medicinal foliage from the herb garden and surrounding rainforest, performed by highly trained and skilled therapists. Highlights at the spa include an exclusive scent and amenities produced with Langkawi rainforest elements, healing surrounding walkways incorporating the flora used in the treatments, as well as The Datai’s signature open air treatment villas for guests to connect with the sights and sounds of nature.
The Datai Langkawi reopens on 10 September 2018. Enjoy a special 20% off for stays between 15 September and 15 December 2018 on www.thedatai.com
