Summer camp season is just around the corner with a great line up of activities that’ll keep the kiddos laughing and learning. Let the fun times roll, mama!

School’s out, fun’s out, mama! We’re bringing you the top summer camps of 2016 which are sure to make a memorable summer season for our little ones. From sports camps and dance classes to science experiments and destination sleepovers, these camps will bring the brave adventurer out of your bub! After all, summer is all about making friends, trying new things and letting loose!

Multi-Activity & Sports Camps

Singapore American School (SAS)
Singapore American School has got a jam-packed summer semester open to both SAS and non-SAS students aged 3 and up! SAS has partnered with INSEAD, recently ranked the number one MBA programme in the world, to offer an exciting entrepreneurship course to high school students that will be taught by the same MBA professors teaching at INSEAD’s Singapore campus! It’s an incredibly unique opportunity for the price, mama (considering an INSEAD MBA is more than $100,000!). This year, SAS is also offering a Chinese Immersion program for the first time, and little ones can play to their hearts’ content at the Early Learning Center.

iCamp Thailand
Launching this summer, iCamp is a unique American-style summer overnight camp. Its three- or six-week summer programme is best for kids between 8 and 16 who are looking for something different from the norm this summer! With an emphasis on fun, this camp will instil the values of cooperation, tolerance, respect, caring and community spirit, plus it’s a great confidence booster!

The Keys Academy
The Keys is an innovation and skills centre which knows exactly how to keep young learners happy, engaged and active during the holidays! This summer, kiddos will learn to distinguish themselves as leaders in their communities with a global perspective. Watch them develop their unique skills at camps like the Mini-MBA, Tech Star Jr., Silicon Valley, Mars Robot Survival, CSI: Murder Mystery and Design Innovation.

LooLa Adventure Resort (Bintan) Football and Rugby camps

Fancy taking the whole family and sending your kiddos to the region’s best holiday camp, while taking in world class views and do some exciting activities yourself, mama? LooLa Adventure Resort in Bintan (the world’s highest ranked eco resort) runs ongoing camps together with Centaurs Rugby and CUFA Football for children of all ages. Your kiddos can hone their sports skills and improve their teamwork and leadership skills through exciting adventure and community activities.

Shaws Little League
These ever-popular multi-sport and sport-specific camps available for children ages of 3 to 10 are back! The camps include arts & crafts and cooking activities, along with good old fashioned water fights and team building games! Thumbs up for the availability of early drop-offs, too.

Singafit
Singafit is all about keeping kiddos strong and healthy, with a variety of sports camps at Bishan, Clementi and East Coast. They’re running multi-sports camps for those aged 4-14, with a new activity every day including rock climbing, badminton, athletics, trampoline and orienteering. They’ve also got triathlon camps for energetic 9-14 year-olds (or those who could use a bit of a kickstart!).

At this multi-activity camp for kiddos aged 4 to 12, they’ll get to try out a wide variety of sports and activities, all in one location! Fun sports include Swimming, Tennis, Basketball, Soccer, Rugby, Athletics, Baseball and Yoga, while kiddos can also take a breather with classic camp activities like Arts & Crafts, treasure hunts, and movie time.

Sports Camps Australia (SCA)
Is your little one feeling sporty? SCA Nike Sports Camps are on throughout the summer, including tennis, mountain biking and new camps such as multisports and trampoline! Campers will hone their athletic skills, get fit, stay healthy and stay active with SCA’s fun sports sessions. The kids will be nice and tuckered out by bed time, guaranteed!

Village Camps
Village Camps is a European export which is fast becoming a hit here in Singers as well. With an “Education through Recreation™” approach, the broad programme covers everything from arts & crafts to swimming — no day is ever the same with a constantly rotating schedule! This summer, kiddos can look forward to new camps like Leadership, Language and Football.

Skate With Us
Calling all skater boys and girls! Skate With Us has got an exciting line-up of summer skate camps for 3 to 12-year-olds, open to experienced skaters and non-skaters, alike! Kiddos will learn at their own pace and grouped according to age and skill level with a small instructor-to-student ratio of 1:6. They’ll make new friends, learn about resilience, engage in teamwork activities and build their confidence – who knew skating could offer all that? As an added bonus, full day campers will get a free superheroes goodie bag and all campers get free skate rentals!

Aureus Academy
Aureus Academy’s popular summer music camps are back on stage! Presenting Dance Theatre Arts and its exciting new onstage summer school! If your 8-16 year-old loves to move, this is going to be a fun-filled, sweat-tastic week of dancing and preparing for a Sleeping Beauty ballet! For the serious dancer, there’s the optional Melody Movement, a home-study programme providing young performers the opportunity to learn more deeply about ballet, dance and theatre…plus get a certificate to hang proudly at home.

An award-winning fine arts school, Little Artists Art School is leading the curve for budding artists with an exciting summer palette of eight programmes in painting, sketching, and sculpture for kiddos 2.5 -17 years old (adults can sign up for classes too, mama!). You can pick and choose which classes you want, but if you’re looking for variety, their half day and full day Artrageous Camps are perfect for kiddos wanting to try their hand at a bit of everything!

British Council
The British Council’s Study Camps are intensive holiday programmes aimed at international Primary (aged 7 – 11) and Secondary (aged 12 – 15) students. With their English Booster programme intended for Elementary to Pre-Intermediate level for Primary students and Pre-Intermediate to Intermediate level for Secondary students, your kiddos will benefit from extra English language support, especially if they need a hand in the areas of grammar, vocabulary and developing oral confidence within a safe, fun and supportive atmosphere. These Study Camps can be taken in two week modules with students able to study for one, or both modules. If you prefer enrolling your bubs in a more private class, they also offer private closed group camps and one-to-one programmes.

Coding Lab’s summer camp is ideal for kids aged 7 to 12, but they also have tech-friendly tips for those tiny tykes under five in case you were interested! Classes are limited to eight students to give them max attention, encouraging them to strengthen their logical, problem solving and math skills!
