Singapore has been hurtin’ for a good sandwich joint and Blimpie has come to the rescue! Coined as the world’s first submarine sandwich chain, Blimpie opened its first location in Hoboken, New Jersey back in 1964. They’ve been know for their large, fresh subs ever since! In Singapore (Blimpie’s first outlet in Asia), the fast casual concept is serving halal deli meats sliced to order, using only the freshest ingredients. Expect freshly baked bread, farm-to-table chicken items, Provolone cheese (delicious Italian cheese that’s been aged for a minimum of four months) along with high quality Cheddar and Swiss cheese options.
While not yet MUIS Halal certified, Blimpie Singapore promises a 100% halal supply chain.

PS. Cafe announced that they’ll be at Great World very soon, and we’re itching to hear more details. Keep your eyes peeled for the launch happening on 10 February, mama!

Ask your little one: have you ever wondered what goes on in a day of the life of Ryder or Skye from PAW Patrol? Nickelodeon has created PAW Patrol: A Day in Adventure Bay, a life skills app that combines nurture-style gameplay with action and adventure to empower kids to play and learn independently, explore and problem solve through missions around Adventure Bay, and learn universal early-childhood social skills.
Through positive reinforcement, kiddos learn how to break down larger tasks into smaller activities like helping brush the pup’s teeth, checking the weather and selecting appropriate attire before embarking on the day’s mission of helping citizens around Adventure Bay through a series of driving missions. After completing each mission, kids can unwind with each pup by helping them prepare for bed, bathe, change into pyjamas and go to sleep, mimicking kids’ own routines in real life.

Best known for their natural, handmade milk bubble tea, Milksha is recognising the current high demand for disinfectants in Singapore by responding with free hand sanitizer (which you may have noticed have been a bit tough to find lately thanks to the Wuhan coronavirus). BYO opaque bottle to any of their outlets and they’ll fill it up with 50ml of disinfectant, no strings attached. Make sure your bottle is opaque so sunlight doesn’t affect the performance of the disinfectant!
On top of that, every Milksha outlet has a spray bottle filled with HoCl (a novel disinfectant in the F&B industry) that is available for public use.
