Children’s Museum Singapore opens on 10 December with Carnival
Formerly the Singapore Philatelic Museum, Children’s Museum Singapore is finally set to open its doors on 10 December! Featuring a permanent exhibition showcasing Singapore of yore, local everyday scenes and lots of interactive fun, this new museum will quickly become a fam favourite once it opens. They’re celebrating the opening with a Birthday Bash Weekend Carnival on 10 & 11 December 2022, so make sure you get your tickets to check it out – admission is free for kids and $10 for every accompanying adult!

Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie Dempsey Factory opens!
Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie – Dempsey Factory opens on 3 December! Homegrown bean-to-bar chocolate brand, Mr. Bucket has a brand new chocolate lifestyle destination at Dempsey Hill where you can witness the bean-to-bar process, learn about chocolates of Asian origin and indulge in a variety of delectable choctastic treats made fresh daily. See cacao beans being roasted, make your own chocolate bar with toppings of your choice at Singapore’s first build-your-own chocolate slab station, drink 72% dark chocolate milkshakes and tuck into pretty entremets or chocolate tasting sets at the indoor and outdoor cafe. New giant sculptures at secret locations on Palawan Beach (FREE!)
Discover four new giant friends at secret locations along Sentosa’s Palawan Beach in December! Crafted by international recycling artist Thomas Dambo, the larger-than-life Explorers of Sentosa giants are made from upcycled wood and plastic, and will tower over 5 metres in height! Each of them has a story to tell, inviting us to reflect on how we can improve our interactions with nature and the waste we generate. The giant sculptures are open to the public now and will make Sentosa their home until the end of 2024 – you can find them with the help of a digital map. The Singapore-bound installations will join 97 other sculptures worldwide, such as Roskilde, Denmark and Pinecrest Gardens in Florida, United States of America.

New Future World: Where Art Meets Science Installations
Future World: Where Art Meets Science at the ArtScience Museum has reopened with new exhibitions, galleries and installations! Serving as a second chapter to the exhibition, ‘Exploring New Frontiers’ invites you to take flight and explore the world above, where the sky becomes the focus. Kids will get to climb and navigate a colourful aerial structure suspended in mid-air in ‘Flock of Colored Birds’ while ‘Sketch Flight’ allows visitors to submit their own drawings and see them come to life on screen in real time! Plus, the Digital Light Canvas within The Shoppes has also been updated with a new interactive digital display – perfect for letting little ones run wild as a break from the festive shopping!

Night Safari’s new ‘Creatures of the Night’ animal show
If you love the Night Safari as much as we do, you’ll have to plan a trip down soon to check out the new Creatures of The Night animal show! Debuting in a brand new, larger amphitheatre that offers more seating than ever and complete shelter so visitors stay dry indoors, the new show will feature new animal species additions such as an Indian Crested Porcupine, Raccoon Dog and Bearded Pigs. As always, the show will focus on conservation and the threats these species face. We can’t wait to see the animals in action!
