There’s a new aesthetic spot in Singapore turning heads for its grand foyer and urban greenery–and it may very well be the next reason you go to Kent Ridge. That’s Geneo @ Singapore Science Park, the latest mixed-use development to crop up on our Little Red Dot. Located in a business hub dedicated to life sciences and innovation, Geneo adds a great dose of community-friendly facilities, beautiful spaces, a serviced apartment, co-working spaces, and, of course, food–all packed in this spacious enclave spanning 39,000 square feet.

Swensen’s Unlimited has yet to open at Geneo, but it’s great to have another great buffet option in Singapore. Not only do you get access to an unlimited ice cream bar and waffles, but there are also live cooking stations and a spread of hot dishes, seafood and more. Things to do at Geneo
The Canopy: Instagrammable event plaza

There are many reasons to be in awe of The Canopy, Geneo’s 3,000-square-metre event plaza. This area at the entrance of Geneo is visually stunning, with mass engineered timber (MET) pillars towering some 27 metres tall, branching off to a louvred glass canopy. It’s also where plenty of events are expected to take place, with a capacity of about 300 pax. On a regular day, though, you can simply hang out at this naturally ventilated space and enjoy the view before you.
The Seed: Outdoor garden at Geneo

Geneo is not lacking in green spaces—case in point: The Seed, a ginger-themed genomic garden. Besides playing host to specially selected ginger plant species, this outdoor garden at Geneo is beautifully landscaped. It features a lily pond and lots of shrubs for a great dose of oxygen.
Fitness Corner at Geneo

Designed by Italian artist Vito Di Bari, the fitness corner (known as MyEquilibria) has perhaps the most interesting fitness system we’ve ever seen. This 7-metre-tall sculpture allows people to do over 500 different types of exercise from nine sports disciplines. You’ll soon be able to find it over at 5 Science Park Drive, just opposite Geneo.
Bicycle facilities at Geneo

Cyclists have plenty of reason to head to Geneo, thanks to its bike-friendly facilities. There are a total of 466 bicycle lots at Geneo, as well as shower and locker facilities, all meant to promote the Singapore Green Plan 2030.
Visit Kent Ridge Park

Kent Ridge Park is just an 8-minute walk from Geneo, making Geneo a great spot to drop by for some food after spending the day outdoors. The park is known to be the site of one of the last WWII battles in Singapore, and now has easy walking paths, ponds, and even a mountain bike trail.
Citadines Science Park Singapore: Serviced apartment & co-working spaces at Geneo

Geneo is now home to the new Citadines Science Park Singapore, a serviced residence. It’s got everything you need for a comfy stay, including a 24-hour fitness centre, an infinity swimming pool with a great view, a launderette and more. There’s also a co-working space here that’s open 24 hours for guests to use.
How to get to Geneo @ Singapore Science Park

By train: The nearest MRT station to Geneo is Kent Ridge MRT with sheltered access to Geneo. Kent Ridge MRT station is just an 8-minute walk from Geneo.
By bus: There are a couple of bus stops outside Geneo: 5 Sc Pk Dr off the AYE and 1a Sci Pk Dr and Ascent on Science Park Drive.
By car: Parking is available at Geneo @ Singapore Science Park. Parking is free on weekends and public holidays and standard charges apply on weekdays between 12am to 5.59pm. Parking is free from 6pm – 11.59pm.
