Make-a-Wish Foundation in Singapore has granted an amazing 900 wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses, from trips to Disneyland and meeting rockstars, to heartbreakingly simple wishes for new wheelchairs. Basically, they do amazing work to brighten up the days of very sick kiddos, so we’d all love to help, right? Well, they’ve made it beyond simple to do so this October as they’re running their delicious “Wish Dish” campaign for a second time. How does it work? Well, you go to one of the whopping 29 participating restaurants (The Marina Bay Sands is a particular hotspot) and order the Wish Dish, and the restaurant donates 50% of proceeds to the charity. How amazing is that?
The aim is to raise $100,000 through the Wish Dish celebration, and as there’s only a week left we really need you mamas to get eating… NOW!
Restaurants taking part include CUT, db Bistro Moderne, Guy Savoy, Pizzeria Mozza, Osteria Mozza, Sky 57, Absinthe, Oso, Hashi, Nosh, Level 33 and La Barca. Pssst — if you have visitors in town, The Fullerton Hotel is donating 100% of proceeds for the Town Laksa to the campaign! In its inaugural year, 6000 Wish Dishes were ordered by customers, so they’re hoping to make it to 10,000 this year.

The Wish Dish campaign runs until the 31st October 2013.
